Mayureshwar Temple Morgaon, also known as the Morgaon Swayambhu, is one of the eight Ashtavinayak temples in Maharashtra, India. It is dedicated to the god Ganesha and is located in the village of Morgaon, about 85 km from the city of Pune. The temple is said to have been built by Morya Gosavi, a Maratha warrior, in the 14th century. It is built in the Hemadpanthi style of architecture, which is a combination of the Hemadpanti and Nagara styles. The temple has a large courtyard, a central shrine, and several other smaller shrines. The central shrine houses a statue of Ganesha that is said to have been self-manifested (Swayambhu), and is considered to be one of the most sacred statues of Ganesha in Maharashtra.
