The Kufri is a small hill Station located in the beautiful city of Shimla in the Indian State of Himachal. The hill Station is 10 km from the Shimla City. This is one of the most visited destinations by couples and honeymooners. It is surrounded by snow throughout the winter making it a beautiful destination to visit. Shimla and Kufri was under the kingdom of Nepal. But this region was given to the british raj under the treaty of Sugauli. The treaty of Sagauli was signed on 2nd December 1815 between the East India company and RajGuru Gajaraj Mishra with Chandra Shekhar Upadhaya for Nepal following the Anglo-Nepal war of 1814-1816. The treaty was to surrender the western Territory to the East India Company. The Region around Shimla was hidden from the people until the british discovered it in 1819.

Most people prefer going up by ponies. Kufri Zoo is also one the famous attractions for the kids visiting here on Hill Station as they can enjoy their best time here. There is also the world’s highest go-kart track from Kufri to Mahasu Peak is one the highest peaks here.Hence this Hill Station is one of the most Visited And beautiful places in India.
